I will! I'm not thirty any more and most of my traditional romance happily ever after stuff is sitting in my hard drive waiting to get edited and formatted for release. I'm happy to announce I've hired 2 new editors so I can start pulling out the old school romance I've written and getting out there for my readers. It's been miserable trying to hire enough qualified editors. The good ones are booked, and the rest you hire on faith, and sometimes it doesn't work out. And I don't want to do that again. It burns time and cash and I don't want to do that again.
It made me feel good when both editors I wanted to hire told me they were fully booked and couldn't take on new clients, because a little while later I got emails back with my Amazon author page link, and was asked, "Are you this Susan Ward?" And when I said yes, we reached a work agreement. I am now "This" Susan Ward. Laughing. What the heck, it got me 2 new editors.
A word about how I use the word "Perfect" in a title or a book series. It's my own little code for my readers. Any book I put in my Perfect Forever Collection, or if I tuck the word Perfect into the series titles( Like When the Perfect Comes) it means that is an old school, traditional romance style novel. It's safe for all steam level of readers. In fact, the greatest love scene I've ever written is in Face to Face, 41 pages and it is approved for all audiences. The readers love the love scenes in The Deverell Series and it is all done lyrically, in old school verbiage, from a lots art most romance writers no longer do. I love a beautifully written lyrical love scene. I just do. So you get them in my Perfect novels.
So if you are reading my historical series waiting for Love me Forever to release this summer, you will probably really like The Signature(A Perfect Forever Novel) or Rewind(A Perfect Forever Novella). And if you are reading my Perfect Forever Collection, hop over to The Deverell Series.
