Here are a few of my favorite things...about being older.

Here are a few of my favorite things now that I'm over...hmmm... won't tell, just a more seasoned age:

Not shopping for clothes for a year and not even caring; having shoes so long they are in style again; wearing designer sunglasses and thinking it's an outfit;  Going out a hot,older mess and smiling as though I can't see it;  women who age without face work and know they look better real; doing the things I want even if they are not profitable; writing young women so I can relive it again with the mistakes being theirs; my girls thinking I have the answer to every heartache only by magic and not having been there; Knowing that guy beside me has seen it all--the good, the bad, the ugly of me-- and still loves me anyway; Not wearing makeup when I probably really need it; Feeling as if a manicure is a total beauty makeover; Being cheap and not having to be; getting a phone call instead of a text from my kids and having them laugh at how excited it makes me; Life, heck just waking up in the morning is now a pretty fine thing!
